Garden Baby Shower Cake
What a wonderful springtime baby shower cake. This cake is adorned with gumpaste flowers and butterflies, and topped with a watering can. The inside of the cake was just as spring like with our refreshing Zucchini Lime Cake with Cream Cheese Filling.
White Invitation Cake
We created this cake from the bride’s invitation. The white invite had alturning thick and thin vertical lines that were pearly and embossed. The top of the invite was dressed with a white bow. We used fondant to created that beautiful smooth look and added pearlized fondant ribbons and bows.
The design was a perfect compliment to the decor of the Boulderado Hotel.
Alisa Benay Bridal Gowns Sample Sale
April 10th, Alisa Benay will be having their first annual SAMPLE SALE hosted byStudioWed Denver. StudioWed is located at 4500 West 38th Avenue, Denver, CO 80212.
There will be over 35 gowns on hand for immediate purchase, and an additional 25 gowns for purchase with a delivery date of May 15. All styles of gowns are represented: ball gown, sheath, mermaid, A-line, and many more!
Below are images of some of the gowns that will be available at the sample sale and FAQ concerning the sale. Appointments are strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Gowns will be sold on a first come/ first serve basis.
What condition are the gowns in?
Like new. The gowns in the sample sale are available for a variety of reasons. They may have been used in a handful of photo shoots or runway shows, they may be a discontinued style, or they may be excess stock. If the gown has been worn previously, we have it professionally cleaned prior to the sample sale. Each gown in thoroughly inspected for flaws or stains.
What sizes are your samples?
Samples are generally in either size 4 or size 10. We do, however, have a few in size 2, 12, and 14. Our gowns can be easily altered to fit other sizes as well. Most gowns can be let out or taken in about 2 inches around.
What is the price range of the gowns at the sample sale?
Gowns in the sample sale are 40% – 75% off the retail price. They vary in price from $900 to $3000, with most in the $1300-$2100 range. All sample gown sales are final. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards accepted.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! We want all of these gowns to find loving homes and will work with you to make that happen! For a $50 fee, you may make arrangements to make payments for your gown in 3 monthly installments. Your gown will be held in our Colorado Springs studio until the final payment has been made.
Will I be able to take my gown with me on the day of the sale?
We have 35 gowns that are available for cash and carry purchase if paid in full. Each gown comes with a vinyl garment bag. We have an additional 25 gowns that will be on display at the sample sale. These 25 gown samples will be available for delivery May 15, 2010.
What happens if my gown needs altering to fit me?
You can work with our in-house alterations specialist in Colorado Springs, or we can recommend an alterations specialist closer to your location. All alteration fees are your responsibility and will be arranged after the gown sale.
Why do I need an appointment?
Their sales team wants to be able to give you the proper level of attention to make your dream gown purchase a reality. Walk-ins are welcome, but an appointment will ensure that you have individual attention to answer all of your questions.
