School’s out for summer
We had several school related cakes this week. They were all fun and a little different.
We recreated a teacher’s desk…
Made two different topsy turvy graduation cakes…
And a 3-D soccer ball graduation cake, yes the ball is cake!
Rotated Tiers
I love the bright colors of these flowers. They really bring the cake to life. This cake is a three tier square buttercream cake with each tier rotated slightly. It is accented with a random dot pattern.
Aghhh… Retirement!
A sheriff’s retirement cake. This gentleman retired and became a real estate agent. We hung his old uniform on the flag pole, crashed his car into the Larimer County Sheriff’s office and scattered his equipment around the yard. I’d say he was happy to give it up.
Purple Elegance
This buttercream cake is adorned with a fondant ribbon and handmade sugar flowers. We used a variety of purples to match the brides color scheme.
