Colorado Chocolate Festival
May 13, 2010
This years Chocolate Festival (http://www.chocolate-festival.org/) was quite exciting. I entered two cakes into the Wedding Cake Competition and both took home ribbons. Here is our first entry entitled White Chocolate Henna. The tasting cake with chocolate fudge with a toasted coconut and pecan caramel filling.
This cake took home the grand prize ribbon, $200 cash, a free 1/4 page ad in Rocky Mountain Bride summer/Fall issue, an online listing at www.rockymountainbride.com and it will be pictures in the magazine’s “Toast of the town” section.
Here is the second cake entitled ribbons and bows, which won Best Traditional wedding cake. The tasting cake was chocolate fudge cake with vanilla custard and fresh raspberries.
