It’s rare that we duplicate a cake exactly as it was originally done by another designer, but our bride had her heart set on this amazing western themed wedding cake. We made a silicone mold of a concho and then recreated them out of sugar. The chocolate fondant is embossed with a western floral design. It definitely fit the theme of this rustic ceremony in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

i am totally in love with this cake! great job! i am wanting to do a western cake for my wedding in april, and i was wondering where did you get the tools to emboss the design? i was goingto put a “belt” around my cake and my girl is not sure if she could do it by hand. this would be a major help! thank you! you can email me at wranglerbaby25@yahoo.com with any info!

Hi Emily,
There are all different types of items that can be used for embossing. I went to a local western store and found a textured soap dispenser. Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Good luck! We have another cake like things next summer with a belt as well. Should be a very cool cake.
Congrats and happy wedding planning.
