We enjoy creating unique wedding cakes and this one is no exception. I love the theatrical look of the red curtain swags tied back with sugar skulls. The black rod iron gate adds an elegant, yet spooky touch. And let’s not forget the day of the dead topper. How cool is that!

We are honored to be one of those vendors and love working with the creative group of experts who are featured there. If you would like to enjoy an evening of wedding inspiration and ideas in studio as you mingle with expert wedding professionals, attend their Wedding Showcase on Wednesday, October 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. All brides and grooms will receive a fabulous swag bag full of gifts and helpful information from our vendors. Modern Blossoms
This subtle, but beautiful cake was originally inspired by a piece of origami paper. The delicate pattern certainly transcended onto the cake and the accents of purple, green, white and silver added a modern touch. The small blossoms were made more visually appealing by adding some three-dimensional components. Thank you to David Wegwart with Photocraftz for supplying beautiful photos of this contemporary cake!
Golden Gnome
This unique 3D cake was given to a team of workers at Photobucket, who all excelled on a project for their company. Instead of giving the companies traditional Golden Gnome to one person, the whole team was awarded this Gnome, made out of cake and finished off with a beautiful coat of gold shimmer. Congrats to the team and thanks for awarding us with such a fun cake to complete!
Lionsgate Fall Bridal Show
Bridal show season has definitely begun! We are thrilled to be exhibiting our work at one of our favorite venues, the beautiful Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette. Their excellent customer service and attention to detail never cease to amaze us and we have witnessed some beautiful events there. If you are getting married, or know someone who is, this is definitely an event worth attending! With over 50 vendors in attendance, it’s a great opportunity to speak with experts in nearly every category! Stop by our booth and sample some of our delicious Zucchini Lime cake, Chocolate Cupcakes and divine Turtle Cake Pops!
