A cake “deer” to our hearts
Groom’s Cakes are all the rage! We have certainly seen more requests this wedding season than we ever have. Everything from sports teams to hobbies, animals to vehicles and every shape in between. With that being said, we want to revisit one of our favorite Groom’s Cakes from the 2010 Wedding Season. Not only did Avalon do a phenomenal job capturing the realism in the deer head (imagine this mounted on the wall) but the story behind it was our favorite as well. Read our original post to hear why this cleaver bride chose a cake in the shape of a deer’s head to surprise her new husband. Special thanks again to Traci Turchin at Real Photography for capturing some great photos of this unique cake.
Fit for Royalty
With all the talk of the royal wedding this week, we thought we would post a beautiful cake we did late last year for a gorgeous wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. Since purple is a regal color, this fondant cake accented with gold dragees and delicate white floral accents would be a worthy design for the modern yet elegant royal couple. It certainly fit beautifully with our clients own majestic event.
Special thanks to Traci Turchin at Real Photography for providing us with these stunning pictures.

For the love of music…
We enjoy creating cakes that speak to our clients personalities and really show their passion for their hobbies. We created this Sweet 16 cake featuring a hand made flute and music notes to show her fun, feminine side and her love of music.
