Green Paisley Beauty

The color combination on this cake was very refreshing and I loved how the paisley’s offset the quilted pattern and scroll work.  Very elegant looking…yet playful for the perfect bride & groom!

A rose by any other name…part deux

We’ve already blogged about this beautiful cake, but we recently received these amazing photos from Harper Point Photography and really wanted to share them.  The intricate imprint and sugar roses are still just as beautiful!

Baby Bird House

We had client come in and he wanted a special cake to give to his wife after she delivered their 1st child.  His inspiration was the decor in the nursery which included the birdhouses he made to hang off the tree branches, so to speak.  A photo was sent in of the mural he did in the nursery and then we went to work and created an adorable cake that played off the colors and design in the room.  He presented the cake to his wife after the delivery, which was not as beautiful as their new baby girl, but a hit none-the-less!

Damask Dessert Bar

Dessert bars are a hot trend right now and for a great reason… Variety!  Your guests can choose from an assortment of cake, cupcake, and cake pop flavors, all of which are sure to please their palates.  Most brides still want the traditional tiered cake for ceremonial purposes, but typically scale back on the size of this cake to accommodate the addition of other desserts.

Rocky

We are becoming fairly well know in Colorado for our 3-d sculpted cakes, and specifically our dog cakes.  This rendition of a chocolate lab named Rocky is simply adorable and truly captures his character.  He’s all dressed up for the big day in his favorite jersey.  Go nuggets!
