Fabulous Feathers
Here’s a design that features gorgeous zig zag draping from the top tier down to the bottom tier. As the draping flows from tier to tier, there is a brooch with a peacock feather holding it in place. It’s a subtle design element that really packs a punch. The flowers, feathers and crystal monogram topper put the finishing touches on a beautiful cake.
Black Damask Brooch Beauty
It seems that we’ve had an influx of brides who are using brooches this season to add a bit of sparkle to their cake designs. In this particular design, we incorporated a damask pattern along with the couple’s monogram and then add a hot pink ribbon with a brooch to tie it all together. It looked fabulous at the reception and really played off all the fuchsia & black details.
When Two Passions Meet…
So what do you do when you have a few theme ideas for a cake, and you’re not sure how they will work together? You go for it and surprise your groom with a cake that shows a few of his passions! We recently designed this cake for a groom who loved the Chicago Bears and fishing…there’s just no other way to bring those two together. He loved it, needless to say!

Sequins & Lace
We just received some amazing shots of one our cakes for a wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau, and we had to share. Karina, over at Karina Heheghan Photographics, was able to capture the beauty of the bride’s dress along with how we incorporated the lace and sequins features onto the cake.
