Winter Snowflake Wedding Cake
This elegant cake design fit well with the cold weather we are experiencing right before the holiday weekend. The snowflake & lace pattern and all white design was beautiful with the vibrant reds & greens used throughout the reception site. The couple requested to have their monogram on the design along with sugar snowflakes on the ribbon instead of a bow. It turned out great and looked stunning with the red roses and green holly leaves as the topper.
Intricate Icings Featured on Style Me Pretty
With the change in weather and Christmas fast approaching, we thought it would be fitting to revisit an amazing photo shoot we were a part of that was featured on Style Me Pretty. The ever so talented Rachel, from Talia Events, put together an incredible group of wedding vendors that contributed to her idea of ModYarn styled shoot and we were so fortunate to be included.
Our dessert bar & cake design followed the Modyarn theme and it reminds us of a warm wool sweater that would come in handy during some of our cold winter days. Take a look at how the shoot came together and tell us what you think!

Buttercream and Diamond Banding Wedding Cake
We just received these lovely photos from one of our brides and we wanted to share them. Their wedding cake was a simple, yet stunning design placed as the centerpiece at their reception at Della Terra in Estes Park, CO. Of course, we loved that purple was the accent color! A special thanks to Cassidy Brooke for capturing the beauty of the cake with great photography.

A Few First’s Celebrated with Cake
It seems, recently, we’ve been asked to do a bunch of cakes for ‘First’s’. You know, 1st Birthday…1st Communion, that sort of thing. We thought it might be cute to group them together into one post and show how creative our clients are in planning parties for their loved ones.
Here’s a 1st Birthday cake for Evelyn. The design for the cake was taken from the invitation given to us by our clients. So cute!
This next one is a 1st Communion cake for Kate. Her parent’s requested the color scheme and cross to signify her big day.
Juicy Couture Handbag Cake
This cake was designed for a young lady that really likes to shop. She was celebrating her 9th birthday with her closest friends by going shopping and then having dinner at a local restaurant. What better way to celebrate than with your own Juicy Couture handbag cake. We also included a shopping bag and shoe box from Abercrombie one of her other favorite stores. I’m sure her friends were pretty impressed!
