Pearls and Lace

Lace is here to stay for awhile, so start getting used to seeing it everywhere…  even on cakes.  We have a thing for making sugar take on textures it shouldn’t really look like, so whenever possible we snatch up bridal lace from our clients’ gowns.  We then make silicon molds of the actual lace, which allows us to transform modeling chocolate into edible lace, just like the lace on this vintage wedding cake.
