Wedding Wednesday: Embroidered Gown Inspired Wedding Cake

Gowns can serve as wonderful inspiration for the wedding cake. This wedding cake was inspired by the "Arabesque" gown by Jenny Packham. Beautiful embroidery, beads, sequins and gems adorn this dress in a lovely floral pattern.

We hand piped the stitched beads and added sugar sequins and gems to mimic the look of the gown. We embelised teh center of the cake with additioanl gems and a ribbon matching the brides belt.

Just a few sugar anenome were added to tie into the floral centerpieces at the venue.
