Wedding Wednesday: Floral Watercolor

Watercolor has been a huge trend in weddings for the last two seasons and it's not going away any time soon. Floral, linear, and random patterns bring this beautiful array of blended colors to life. Its works well on a multitude of decor items like stationary, linens, the gown, and yes, even the cake.

The cake was hand painted to create a floral watercolor effect inspired by the couple's stationary and floral arrangements. A single sugar flower adorns the top.

The cake was accompanied by an assorment of desserts including lemon, lime, orange and raspberry French macarons, fruit tarts, salted caramel brownies, and chocolate mousse cups.
