A Farewell to Cake

Dear Family, Friends, Clients, Vendors, Followers, and Fellow Cake Artists,

As I sit to write this letter, my heart is filled with gratitude and nostalgia. After two decades in our beloved Colorado home, it is time for my family and me to turn the page and begin an exciting new chapter in Pasadena, California. While Intricate Icings Cake Design will live on for inspiration and education, I will no longer be fulfilling cake orders.

To my family and friends, thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and love throughout this incredible journey. Your belief in me has been the backbone of my passion for cake artistry, and I am forever grateful for every cheer, hug, and helping hand along the way.

To my clients, it has been an honor to be part of your celebrations. Each cake was more than just flour and sugar; it was a token of your trust and a symbol of life’s sweetest moments. Thank you for letting me create memories with you.

To my fellow wedding vendors, thank you for welcoming me into such a vibrant, generous, and talented community. Your spirit of collaboration and unwavering support have turned colleagues into friends and transformed each event into something truly unforgettable. I am deeply grateful for the creativity, laughter, and love we’ve shared, and for the beautiful memories we’ve woven together over the years.

To my followers and fellow cake artists, your inspiration and community have made this journey richer than I could have imagined. Sharing techniques, stories, and encouragement has fueled my creativity and joy. I am endlessly inspired by your talent and kindness.

While it is bittersweet to say farewell to the kitchen where so many cakes came to life, I am excited to pack up the cake pans and find joy in crafting new experiences. As I say goodbye to making cakes for clients, I want to share that I’m not exactly sure what the future holds. This time of transition brings both uncertainty and possibility, and I am choosing to embrace the unknown with an open heart. I look forward to discovering new passions, learning, and growing in ways I may not yet imagine.

Though this chapter closes, our memories remain, and I look forward to staying connected as we all continue to create, celebrate, and support one another from afar. Here’s to new adventures, sweet memories, and the beautiful unknown that lies ahead.
