Sugar Geode Cake Tutorial

Geodes have been around for many years, but are most recently making their way into more traditional decor. How could they not; they are gorgeous works of nature!

Like so many, I love anything that sparkles. Trying to get a cake to truly sparkle can present its challenges. I love a challenge and was excited to take on a project letting the geode take center stage for this cake design. I love that this cake maintains its elegance and simplicity while the showing off the beauty, depth, and complexity of a real geode.

I have finally managed to put together a geode tutorial and boy is it packed full of some very valuable information. In this photo tutorial, I will teach you step by step how to create this geode cake. You can then take these skills you've learned and create your own geode cake.
